Marian Rivera, Richard Gutierrez to do intimate kissing, bed scenes in “My Lady Boss” movie

During a recent press interview with GMA’s primetime queen Marian Rivera on the set of the upcoming Valentine movie “My Lady Boss,” she was grilled with questions pertaining to a very intimate kissing scene with her leading man in the movie, Richard Gutierrez.

So did she “enjoy” it?

“As Evelyn, inenjoy ko si Zack (Richard’s character),” she continued.

As much as possible, Marian avoids doing very intimate kissing scenes with his leading men in TV series and films and she does not easily agree to doing bed scenes unless the story really calls for it.

“Malaki ang tiwala ko kay Chard (Richard).  Besides, ever since naman na nagkatrabaho kami hindi naman siya nag-take advantage sa akin at siya mismo ‘yong umaalalay sa akin e,” shared the actress.

She clarified, however, that in her seven years in the business, she has not experienced being taken advantage of by any of her previous leading men.

“Siguro ‘yon ‘yong isa sa dahilan kung bakit proud ako sa sarili ko kasi kahit sino ang naka-eksena ko, never kong naramdaman na hindi ako nirespeto,” she said.

It is not Marian’s first time to work in a movie with Richard.  In fact, their first movie team up was in the romantic-comedy film “My Best Friend’s Girlfriend (My BFGF),” which was released almost five years ago (2008).

Marian says a lot has changed between her working relationship with Richard during the “My BFGF” days and now in “My Lady Boss.”

Masarap siyang kasama.

Although Marian and Richard are both in a relationship, they still manage to be convincingly sweet on-cam.  Marian spills the beans.

Akala ko kasi since after the ‘My BFGF’ ay hindi na kami ulit nagkasama sa soap opera o sa isang pelikula magkakaroon na kahit papaano ng ‘wall’ o magkakahiyaan pero unexpectedly, nagkaroon pa kami ng mas matinding bonding, mas lumalim pa yun samahan namin, mas nakilala pa namin ang isa’t isa,” she explained.

Unlike “My BFGF,” “My Lady Boss” promises to be “sexier,” “wilder” and more “intense” without of course dropping the comedy portion.  In fact, apart from the very passionate kissing scene, Marian and Richard also have several bed scenes in the movie.

My Lady Boss” is a joint production of GMA Films and Regal Films and is directed by Jade Castro.   It will hit nationwide theatres soon.

Marian Rivera on relationship with Dingdong Dantes: “God is in our midst”

GMA’s Primetime Queen Marian Rivera portrays the role of a pathetic, insecure housewife named Angeline in the primetime series “Temptation of Wife.” In real life though, she says she feels very much secure with her relationship with boyfriend Dingdong Dantes because ‘God is at its center.’

“As long as nasa gitna ng relationship niyo si God walang temptation talaga. Masasabi kong sa relationship namin nasa gitna si God kasi kung hindi, matagal na sigurong laglag yung relationship namin pero hindi e, the more na nagtatagal ang relationship namin mas lalo kaming tumitibay at lalo kaming nagiging masaya,” she shared.

Marian says that she is not affected by rumors that link Dingdong to other women both inside and outside of showbiz.

“Meron ba? Parang wala naman. Parte na ng pag-aartista yan e. For as long as kasama namin si God at kaming dalawa ay nagkakasundo at nagkakaintindihan, sa tingin ko walang magiging problema,” she added.

For her part, Marian says there is no reason for Dingdong not to feel the same way about her since she is not vulnerable to temptation.

Marian as ‘Angeline’

In “Temptation of Wife,” Marian’s laid back character is the exact opposite of that of her antagonist Glaiza de Castro who plays “Heidi,” Angeline’s covetous best friend.  Heidi secretly detests Angeline because she feels that fate has always favored Angeline over her and has given her the things -- and people -- that Heidi had always wanted. One of which is Angeline’s husband, Marcel.

Reflecting about her role in the series, Marian says it is way different from her role in her previous series “Amaya” and “My Beloved.”

In order to have some sort of bases for the internalization of their characters, the cast watched the original (Korean) version of “Temptation of Wife.”  Although the scenes are just as intense, Marian says the Philippine version is less violent but more emotional.

Feeling ko yun ang talagang maipaglalaki namin dito sa ‘Temptation of Wife,” she explained.

Asked whether she is fine with the scuffle and tussle required in her scenes with Glaiza, Marian says she has gotten used to having bruises all over her body from her shows.

In real life, Marian and Glaiza are very comfortable working together.  They became close when they worked together in “Amaya.”

Temptation of Wife” airs weeknights after Aso ni San Roque on GMA-7.

Marian Rivera goes ballroom dancing with senior citizens

GMA’s Primetime Queen Marian Rivera was caught last week by her fans dancing with a group of senior citizens in front of the Veterans’ MemorialMedical Center in Quezon City.  Many netizens have speculated that it was a shoot for a new show but only a few got it right -- the shoot was actually for GMA’s upcoming station ID, which will air this August.

Prior to the shoot, Marian had a quick practice with a dance instructor who was amazed at how quickly the beautiful actress memorized the steps.

Despite the drizzle, Marian along with fellow kapuso leading ladies Kris Bernal, Sarah Lahbati and Louise delos Reyes, had a great time shooting with the seniors, some of whom enjoyed the privilege of being the gorgeous ladies’ dance partners.  Marian also introduced her version of the Cha-Cha, which was more similar to her popular “Sabay Sabay Tayo” dance step.

Marian has all the reason to dance.  Many of her popular kapuso shows have been (or are currently being) aired in various countries abroad, specifically in countries like ChinaCambodiaGhanaMalaysia and Singapore.

“Siyempre, nakakataba ng puso na sa bawat soap na ginagawa mo ay hindi lang yan napapanood dito sa atin kundi maging sa ibang bansa, ibang saya ang nadudulot nun e,” she says of her shows’ international presence.

Marian shared that she happened to watch her fantasy series Diyesebel inCambodia when she visited the country over a year ago.

It seems that the shows in which she starred with her real-life boyfriend Dingdong Dantes appeal to international audiences, is there a plan for another Dingdong-Marian team-up anytime soon?

“With Dong [Dingdong Dantes] mukhang wala pa kasi katatapos lang din naman ng My Beloved, siyempre hindi naman kailangan palagi kaming magkasama.  Siguro this time, kanya-kanya muna kaming soap.”

Marian currently stars in the sitcom “Tweets for My Sweet,” which airs every Saturday evening on GMA-7.  Since its launch in May, the show has been garnering favorable ratings nationwide.   It is for this reason that the kapuso primetime queen is thankful to her fans.

Chef Boy gives Marian Rivera cooking assignments!

Even though Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is busy with her showbiz commitments, her desire to enroll in a culinary school continues.

During a set visit on Tweets for my Sweet, Marian admits that for now her schedule does not permit enrolling in a culinary school. She's thankful that she is working with Chef Boy Logro who serves as her mentor in cooking.

Marian shares.

Meanwhile, Tito Panch (Chef Boy Logro), the younger brother of Meg and Adele's dad will visit Same Same CafĂ©. He will tell them that he didn't pursue his plans of going to Mexico because of an illegal employer.

Will Tito Panch be the answer to Meg's question about her long lost mom?

Find out on Tweets for my Sweet every Sunday before 24 Oras Weekend on GMA.
